SMS Notifications & Consent

byAVEED Aesthetics & Skin is a licensed aesthetic medical practice in Mill Creek, Washington. This page describes the SMS (text-message) communications you receive when you book an appointment with us, how you give consent to those messages, and how to opt out at any time.

Who sends the messages

All SMS messages on this program are sent by byAVEED Aesthetics & Skin (byAVEED PLLC). We do not share your phone number or your SMS consent with third parties, affiliates, marketing partners, or lead-generation companies. SMS is used exclusively for transactional, appointment-related communications.

What kinds of messages you’ll receive

You will only receive messages directly tied to an appointment you have booked. These include:

• Appointment confirmations
• Day-before appointment reminders
• Secure booking-management and rescheduling links
• Booking & consultation fee payment links
• Appointment updates (time changes, rescheduling, or cancellation notices)
• Post-visit aftercare instructions related to your scheduled treatment

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on how many appointments you book and your treatment cadence, but is limited to appointment-related communications described above. A typical visit produces 3–5 messages over its lifecycle (confirmation, reminder, optional payment link, and an aftercare follow-up). We do not send marketing blasts, promotional offers, discounts, or third-party content.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply per your carrier’s plan. byAVEED does not charge you to receive these messages, but your wireless carrier may.

How you opt in (Call to Action)

You opt in to receive SMS messages by completing the online appointment booking form at byaveed.com/book. On the final step of the booking form (“Your Details”), after entering your name, email, phone number, and date of birth, you are presented with an unchecked, optional SMS consent checkbox. The exact text shown next to the checkbox is:

“Optional — check this box if you’d like to receive SMS appointment communications. You will still receive email confirmations and reminders if you leave this unchecked. By checking this box, I consent to receive transactional SMS messages from byAVEED Aesthetics & Skin related to my appointment, including booking confirmations, reminders, booking management links, payment links, appointment updates, and aftercare instructions. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies but is limited to appointment-related communications. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates, and is not a condition of booking or receiving any service.”

SMS consent is entirely optional. The “Continue to Payment” button is enabled whether or not the box is checked, so any patient may complete a booking without opting into SMS. Patients who do not opt in still receive booking confirmations and appointment reminders by email. Only patients who explicitly check the box are added to the SMS program. SMS consent is therefore unambiguous, affirmative, and tied to a specific appointment you have requested — never a precondition of receiving care. We store proof of consent at submission time, including phone number, IP address, timestamp, booking source, and the version of these Terms in effect.

How to opt out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (or any of these keywords: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPTOUT, STOPALL) to any message from byAVEED. You will receive one confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further texts.

Replying STOP only affects SMS notifications. Your appointment, your patient record, and your access to your email confirmations are unchanged. To resubscribe, reply START.

Privacy & data handling

Your phone number and SMS consent record are handled under our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your phone number or SMS consent to any third party for their own marketing or messaging.

Eligibility

SMS messages are sent only to patients who have provided a U.S. mobile number and affirmatively opted in through the booking form described above. You must be 18 years of age or older to book an appointment and consent to SMS communications.

Changes to this page

We may update this page from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through our website.
